Theres a really nice image trying to get out here Averil. You did well to see the potential, - the colours are gorgeous, and with the shadows darkened, it really pops.

Making the shadows darker involves making black = black, and this also has the effect of intensifying the colours.

With this tweak, and sharpening, you have a lovely print. The version Ive uploaded is cropped to a more panoramic format, to try to9 make something of that arc of blue coming across the top. View large.

Well seen, but you can see the extra impact out of Willie's mod. I wonder about a subject, too. There is no focal point. Something, I know not what, on the bottom left third.
