Sundown over the River Mersey.............
Taken from near the Echo Arena on the Liverpool side looking across the sandbanks exposed at low tide towards Wallasey on the Wirral Peninsula.I was drawn to the patterns in the sand created by the retreating waters which were highlighted by the golden light of the sunset whilst the sky was a beautiful mix of pale yellow and heather tones.
