Just back from another camping trip. This time we walked out along Glen Affric and went on several miles beyond the little crofthouse where we normally turn around and come back.
This is the spot where we spent last night and was the only time when we didn't have rain or heavy drizzle again. We almost turned back on the way out because we could see the rain on the hills beyond, but decided to press on and had another soggy night. The sun came out about two miles from the car on the way back. Typical!!!!! But we still enjoyed the experience and 15 miles with heavy rucksacks on our backs has got to be good exercise.
Many thanks for your votes and comments on my previous uploads.

There's no stopping you and Phil now, covering endless miles through the wilderness, and coming back with such excellent shots of areas I'm not likely to see for myself. Another beautifully composed and balanced landscape, the light being what it's all about this time. Fine photography, Sue.
Ronnie.
I really like this Sue, the atmosphere the mood the 'being there' feel to it, wonderful!
But I feel so guilty sat here all warm and dry and comfy viewing it. ( Well not THAT guilty) ![]()
And walking 15 miles with heavy wet Rucksacks is not only good exercise Sue, it's MADNESS!

It is good to see that all your efforts were worth it, Sue. Very well done both of you!
This is a magnificent moody sky you have captured, and at this time of year the bare landscape is so obvious, the overall image is of total bleakness (that doesn't sound grammatically correct but I am sure you know what I mean.)

You're certainly making up for lost time, Sue!
A cracking shot, and a super dramatic sky, creating some wonderful light and reflections on the river
- unlike here today, the sky's about a 10% grey all over and it's raining ![]()
