You always deliver such excellent landscapes, Sue, and I can tell from your f/g features that a lot of consideration has been taken in organising the whole image: the f/g river bed and boulders lead the eye nicely into the valley.
Given the prevailing recent weather, it seems surprising the water level in the river appears to be fairly low.
Ronnie.

A beautiful scene. The Autumn colours are so well set off by that grey sky and the details and textures are so well captured.

Looks like you were stood in the river to take this, Sue! Wink Wonderful colours, tones and textures, and very well composed with the line of rocks either side of where you're stood leading the eye through the scene. Love it Smile

THe sweeping mountains coming in from both sides keep the eye focused in the middle and to the far distant. You do these so well, Sue.

Fabulous pov Sue - and love those colours, especially the birch trees shining out on either side of the river.
