On our return journey from Wensleydale we cut across the tops to Upper Wharfedale. Our minor road route took us alongside the young River Wharfe for many miles. This was just a spot where we paused to take in the tranquillity.

I'd like to be back there now!

Mike

Lovely exposure on the water, it's like rippling slate-blue satin.

This brought a lump to my throat, Mike. I have an old photograph of my late mother and father and their wonderful dog, Julie, alongside the Wharfe, it could almost have been taken in the self-same spot of the river. Very well captured. Carol
