Club night out in Glasgow City centre.
I'm not at all confident about architectural images,
so I'll upload a few and you can tell me how to improve.
Many thanks for votes and comments got The Interloper.
Have a good weekend.

I saw this building the last time I was in Glasgow Kate,
and still can't decide whether I like it or not.
I probably would if it was covered in rust though !!
And glad you appreciate Hogweed as an anniversary present for my wife.
Although I think she was less pleased with the set of car mats I presented to her the year before !!
Mick.

Intriguing building, nice timing for light and I like the way you chose the parts to be framed. V2 is my favourite because of the lovely quality of glowing light.

Lovely architecture in these captures with the light. I think this is why its changing.
Perth has a fair bit now. It just proves how important light is to a picture.
Well done Kate.

Wonderful distortions in V.1, Kate, not sure that I like the building at all, though, looks like something from outer space Grin Carol

You went clubbing in the City!! Tongue Excellent distorted reflections in v1, Kate, lovely light in v2, and perspective in v3.

I'm not sure these are improvements (in fact I know they're not), more just my personal thoughts ..

v1. maybe straighten the verticals or alternatively, totally mis-skew them

v2. a crop from the left to make the windows equidistant from the sides?

v3. another crop maybe, from the right to just take out the right side window and leave the roof line looking like a Nike tick (or swoosh)

Nice building, nice work. I love the distorted reflections in V1. If these were mine (I wish) I would probably fiddle endlessly to get the verticals right, but the point here is impact and they have that already.

It's a great building with so many opportunities for original shots as your set here shows, Kate.
I think your V 1 image was a good choice for that slot.
All captured in fine detail and so well exposed too.
Ronnie.

Kate, in V1, is the wall curved or flat? If its curves, as it appears to be when downloaded, you cant correct it without ruining it. Looks like you were shooting down a little bit; V2 needs that mess of weeds cropped off, even if it leaves you with a receding "train".

Nice images of a very difficult to shoot subject.

The V3 mod suggested by WhiteRose does have the advantage of placing the middle window in the middle, so though it lacks symmetry, it looks quite good.

No point in repeats so I have taken different approaches from "the masters" with my mods. I'd love to know how banehawi managed to straighten the top edge of the window though. Try as I might, I couldn't do it.
