I can imagine where you were, I don't think I've ever looked along from there. Good view.

A wonderful image of Old Durham Town. The image works so very well in this wonderful monochrome.

You have used the ideal viewpoint for the long view towards the peninsula that really emphasises the massive nature of the Castle / Cathedral complex.
Excellent b&w too.

This is a view that I have not seen before, John: composed as ever with such attention and looking super in this B and W presentation.
Love the reflections of the riverside properties in the still waters above the weir.
Ronnie.

A nice clean shot - good architectural lines; good tonal values - the reflections in the water are also very good here.
