Agree that the lines are great. The tone is just right to emphasise the desolation. I think the composition is a bit to central for my liking - I would have cropped a bit of the right hand side out - but the ultra wide shape does work well.

I'm a great believer in breaking the rules now and then, it's not all about picture perfect and grids on screens, as a rule of thumb I do try not to get the subject bang in the middle but sometimes it just works. The sky adds that extra touch of drama Brian, glad the trip went well.
