A 40 minute exposure at Roches Castle Ruins in Co Louth on Friday night.
I new it was time to go home when my bag frosted over.
Thanks for looking
wow, this is great,
If it wasn't for the star trails I would have said it had been taken in daylight.
40 minutes! Amazing what these sensors can pick up that's totally lost to our night vision.
Lovely. Sure makes me miss living in UK.
Thanks guys Some light painting with a torch but the moonlight made it quite bright anyway.
Well worked with the long exposure Gary, long time to be out but worth the it
Excellent shot .
I bet that was a spooky place to be at night!!! Great shot - I've been experimenting with star trails recently, but use the stacking method rather than a single exposure (nothing to this standard yet though!).
This was done with the stacking method Stuart, each shot was 5 and a half minutes long.
Always time to go home when your bag freezes ;D
Great shot !!
