Hi all, and thanks to all who voted and had a bit of fun with my 'Let's Wear Red' images. Tonight it's back to Rochester, firstly some internal Arches on the Wall of the Castle remains, and secondly, a shot from outside the old Castle Wall. There are probably more pictures taken through this Arch of Rochester Cathedral, than from any other view point. It also lends itself to pictures being taken while sitting inside the Arch, as seen here Smile

Hope you are all having a good Week and not suffering TOO much with Colds or Flu.

All the best to all,

John Smile

Wonderful photos both. V1 the arches, the oblongs, the shadows and the stone work. Like the bench on the right. V2 just wonderful.

The side lighting in V 1 is really bringing the stonework 'alive', John, and I can see in V 2 the attraction that the archway offers for a personal shot.

Great duo John. Love the composition and light and shadows on V1. I think I'll have to re-visit Rochester, I missed a lot thefew times I was there. Don

V1 for me, I like the inclusion of the bench and the strong shadows enhancing the arch shapes.

Came here yesterday for my first look at this series and loved that monochrome stone wall in the BG with the excellent lighting and those three arches - with that park bench in the foreground just crying out to be visited by a walker dressed in colourful clothing. Nevertheless I got that touch of colour I wanted when viewing V2 together with the excellent framing of that shot.

Smashing.

Dave.
