And so it goes on...

This is my favourite of the Val Verzasca pics as I feel I've succeeded in encapsulating a flavour of the place in a detail shot. Anyway, over to you....

Fascinating shot, had to stare at it a while first, but I find it fascinating...

As I've been following this series I know what the reflections are but to look with no insight of the background to it a person would wonder what it was...is that ice on the water?

What an intriguing mixtures of patterns, shapes, lines, forms, textures .... wonderful!

Thanks everyone! I'm very pleased by all the positive comments, especially as this is a shot I take a lot of pride in. I feel I achieved everything I set out to achieve when I set about solving the compositional problems. I wanted to construct an interesting abstract, whilst retaining enough pictorial elements to allow the image to be 'read' a number of ways - if that doesn't sound too pseudy. Smile

And, yes, that is ice on the water.

Yep, I think I'd agree with you Julian in this being the best of the series. You have a bit of everything all in one small frame here.
Very good work.

Thanks Richard. Your input is much appreciated!

This made it into a Light and Land book, didn't it? I'm sure I recognise it... Lovely!
