I prefer V1 myself, I think colour suits the modernity of the image better.

Like this Backah - the semi-transparent bodylines works great with her pose, and is something I want to try sometime.
The make-up and toning are also excellent.

You know what? V1 has more impact and OOMPH. But I think I know why your son prefers V2. It's smoother, calmer, less intense.
