Very nicely composed beach/sea scene with lots if detail and interest in the f/g seaweed draped rocks.
I was looking up in Google yesterday's lochan but no one seems to be sure why the water seems so green.........one humorous suggestion was that the pixies washing their clothes in the loch produced the green coloration.
Ronnie.
Excellent contrast and the greens look so good against that sky, Kate.

A lovely scene Kate the lush colour of the seaweed really make the picture, well done..Lin
A wonderful view, bringing back happy memories! Did you visit Dornoch Cathedral?

PS: thanks again for the UA on my Beautiful Ladies! x
Lovely composition and perfect crop. Although no actual focal point the image has depth (almost 3d) and interest. If shot in RAW I might be temped to revisit the original and by use of the exposure, recovery, fill and blacks sliders, attempt to recover some fine detail in the rocks and in the sky. Small points and not deal breakers. Regards
