Like the general construction of this - the sky is a little bleached which detracts from the whole imo - maybe a little pump-up in ps Smile

yeah I agree with above. If you have a ND Grad filter use it next time for the sky, its over exposed, the grad would cure that. Great shot still

Thank you. I actually pulled down some of the blue in the sky because the mountains looked "TOO BLUE". Ill upload another version.

Amber you can up the blue on one layer of the shot and then cut through to the mountains of the original !!

I like those rolling green hills in the middle and the variety of plants. California is beautiful!

hi amber, are you sure your a beginner? composition here is outstanding and technical input very competent ! the almost burn to r/h sky provides just enough emphisis to create a feeling of mist in distant hills.
gets my vote...

Lovely late sunlight, which you have handled well. I think the sky is OK.

I like the way you have framed the scene with the trees, the strong foreground plant and the bright red flowers. The light falling on the foreground hills looks beautiful against the subtle background mountains.

A good shot nicely composed with lots of interest, but for my liking a little over saturated and with a strong red cast. I have tweeked it about in GIMP - desturated , adjusted curves and contrast. Hope you approve.

Thanks so much James! You did a great job. I think I tend to oversaturate. I like bright colors. Thank you so much for the adjustment and the advice Smile I really appreciate it!
