A winter view across Glasgow rooftops from Queen's Park with Pollokshields Church of Scotland centre, Glasgow University to it's left and with the Finnieston Crane and Hoop Bridge below the University. The Campsies and Dumgoyne (a volcanic plug) lie in the background.
Image captured 29th. December 2013.

My thanks to all who commented on Hellebore and also for your good wishes to us for 2014..........special thanks also to Carol {Caziwinkle's} and Ray {rayme330} for their prized User Awards which are so much appreciated.

Winter light is good for this.
You could make up a short series taken throughout the year and different times of day, i'm sure dusk would be great.

I am pleased you added that the image was taken on 29th, Ronnie, had it been the 25th, I would have accused you of impersonating Santa..Wink
Your image is perfectly lighted from the low sun, giving the buildings a rich orange colour with perfect shadow detail.
It is a beautiful mimage - postcards would sell well Smile
