I found these fungi growing on some rope in the garden. I don't know what they are called but they are rather small (no bigger than a finger nail) and look a little like the bracket fungi which you can find on decaying tree trunks. I just thought I would add my penny-worth into the plethora of fungi images which have adorned EPZ recently. Not exciting but I hope you find it of interest anyway.

Excellent shot, it's strange the places you find these different fungi growing,

I always find such subjects interesting as they come in so many sizes, shapes and colours, and spotting these diminutive specimens on the rope was a good find.
I'm afraid I cannot ID them for you but guess others will know.

This is a lovely, wall-worthy shot. Very good use of DOF.
I'm glad to be number 30.
