Had a fantastic couple of days away in and around the Wye Valley last weekend. Despite the horrendous weather forecast we stayed mainly dry and even managed to sit outside and enjoy a drink in this beautiful setting at Symonds Yat. This was taken on the Friday afternoon - sure beats sitting in an office working!
The ancient Rope Ferry is propelled only by pulling the rope along on the overhead wire and I'm sure its not as easy as the Ferryman makes it look!
Thanks for looking and any comments, constructive criticism and votes always welcome.

Thank you all for your votes and comments. Yes Den - this was at the Saracens Head - a lovely spot to stop for a pint (or two).
TG I am afraid the DOF is all the work of the camera - all set to automatic, I just composed the shot by focusing on the beer (not to close) and then moved slightly so it was at the side of he frame to include the boats on the river.
