A sequence of shots as 60009, Union of Souh Africa, comes round the curve over Ais Gill viaduct with last saturdays 'Cumbrian Mountain Express'.
I tried a number of different ways of processing & cropping these and, having driven myself 'round the bend', finally settled on this group. I couldn't decide which was the best shot for the front image, so I've kept them in the order taken.

Thanks for looking.

This is a wonderful photo that captures some of the "romance" of train travel in earlier times....the steam whistle blowing, the chugging of the locomotive, and the coal smoke coming out the stack, raising atmospheric carbon dioxide and accellerating global climate change.

A great set of images. V2 for me the image has the curveture of the loco and carridges, and a footplate member hanging out.

There a wondefull lead lines from the rials and bridge.

I must go to Ais Gill.

Regards.
