Or 10, depending on how you look at it...

One from the archives today...

Taken with my old camera and using a monopod, though it kept shifting in the wet sand! I'm not really sure what you will make of this - but I hope you give it a try, at least?

Thanks for looking - and thank you loads for your support and wonderful comments on my previous upload, it was all very heartening!

Bombs away... Smile

Great detail - makes a good abstract.

You know I love this one Carol. The sand dusted cobbles in the foregound and the surf worn timbers, but it's the central square, the stained glass centrepiece that does it for me. One of your best abstracts, no doubt!

An abstract image with lots of depth, superb colours and that "collection" of blue is the icing on the already scrumptous cake!
One wants to linger and is then doubly awarded.

The thumbnail didn't move me, but once I saw the picture in full-size...there's just something about it, great lines, great colours, just nice..muted, understated. Great job.

Strongly individual composition, great colour, plenty of detail in the sand. The large pebble and the puddle of blue are intriguing and seize the attention immediately. Wonderful image!

Another classic CG me thinks, great mixture of textures and tone and nicely composed.

You see the orange squidge at the bottom? That looks like a curled up cat. The brown above it is the doormat. In the doorway stood the cat's owner - a blue man. He came to check on the cat and was so touched at the sight of his cat sleeping that he melted into a blue blob. The cat woke up, saw the blob and melted into an orange squidge. Their spirits now colour the sky whenever you see sunsets with streaks of orange and blue in it. Innit?

Hmm...my coffee might be a wee bit too strong...
