Red geology in Provence. The red cliffs of Roussillion are magical when lit by low sun. Taken on our recent trip to France. An abstract idea too.

This proved a bit of a puzzle to me, Ron, as could not decide which section was to the f/g and I'm still not sure but am guessing the right hand side.
Looks like a spot where rocks were used to extract pigment for painting in days gone by.
Ronnie.

Cetainly different Ron, good colours and lighting, first thought it was part of a christmas chocolate log and a candy barWink, how the eye can be deceived by the wonders of nature.

Certainly an image, which makes one think, look and ponder Ron. Without your pre-narrative I would have been somewhat stumped.

A grand abstract and a good change of pace for you Ron. The colours reminded me of Petra in Jordan.

Ronnie got there first, but it's the light on the orange side that gives the game away as to which is the foreground. Superb colours.
