Green and red is always a good combination of colour. And the Rowan Tree is more or less symbolizing Scotland.

Yes that's the story with the profusion of these berries, there's a nip in the air already and lets hope we get a good colourful Autumn this year without the fierce winds, and then some snow to dust the mountains. Wink

A profusion of Rowan berries is supposed to mean ahard, long winter. They are yet to appear here, but I feel they are are soon to be visible. The temperature was down 6c the other morning when I arose at 0530 (0430 UK time), and yes, there was a certain nip in the air, Dougie. Autumn is in full march.

just wonderful, love the bokeh effect, really focuses the eye on the red of the berries. Beautiful!
