many thanks for your kind comments on the dark sunflower. Please forgive my feeble input at the moment .. it is not easy .. but I appreciate your kind feedback very much and will try to find more time for you all.
here is a little purple moth or mint moth ( to give you a translation of the French or Dutch name) Pyrausta purpurali. It resembles a lot the more widespread Pyrausta aurata.
Taken under a scabious at the mozzie lake. the whole moth is only about 15-18mm
