Interesting effect, which works well except for the boat in the middle. Because it is white, larger than anything else and is in the centre, it takes the eye away from some of the more subtle parts of the picture.

Hi Buffy,
I'm not quite sure what your trying to achieve, but if it is an oil painting look, then I suggest you contact ljh, who regularly posts pictures of that type. Its always helpful when seeking advice to tell us what you have done and to post the original as a version so that we have something to work with if trying to demonstrate a technique.
