I am not a Cricket fan, but with the New Zealand team playing a few warm up matches at a local Cricket club, I thought I would take a few shots. This is a completely straight shot, panning with a low shutter speed to show movement (OS set to position 2 for panning). The hit rate is quite low, but I like how this one has turned out, and hope you do too.

Sometimes the slow shutter gives a better feeling of movement than frozen action.
It's the same thing with moving water.

I like it, gives a good sense of the movement but with the face sharper it works very well Grin

Thank you Jules. The faster shuter speed shots I took, look frozen by comparison. Smile
