Become somewhat of a Lensbaby evangelist of late, just been taken in by the different world it opens up to your camera and photography.

Rather than driving 2 hours to a landscape that may look rubbish cause of the weather, you can go just about anywhere and do somehting a little different to the norm.

Also, if you have got to the stage where you're revisiting the same places for about the 5th time and loosing your mojo, as I was and many others from what I've read on the site, this cheap little tool can inject a bit of fun into tired old subjects

It's well worth having in your bag alongside your normal kit.

End of sermon

Anyway - this is next to the Civic Hall in Leeds, I was walking from the car, just watched an ambulance fly past and all the cars get a bit muddled up, then this cyclist came zooming down between everyone - turned and quickly shot of a couple of frames with the bendy V2 before he was out of sight and gone.

There is no sharp point in this photo, just say that I know that so save someone saying it Wink

He had a yellow jacket on so thought I'd see what the scene would look like with all colour but yellow removed.

cheers folks - almost 1/3 people like it, it's a new record for my lensbaby stuff!

The great thing about it paul is that all the clutter gets blurred or made into stars if you bend the lens and focus on something to the side

I'd love to see one of your sea-scapes done with one, a whole new look to play with and technique to experiment with

Its a great picture, its full of life yet riding a bike there must bring you very close to death.

It must be like riding between two giant chainsaws. Smile

You are so very right. There are pictures everywhere if you take the time to look.

You'd need the Composer the lockable Control Freak or V3 to get a longish shutter speed.

you could do shotswith the sweet spot on the clouds and get blurry water, then get sharp rocks and a blurry sky.

could be interesting Wink

Cool shot, I love the yellow pin holes in the guys eyes and the energy and movement captured.

I wouldn't give up the landscapes just yet though. I think this is great because it's unusual. If all your shots looked this do you think you'd like it as much?

Cheers

Ade
