The title contradicts the reality somewhat as paulcr can vouch! Even at 7 in the morning this was a rare moment of no traffic and people. Taken at the weekend Dublin looking towards Trinity. Thanks for looking.
this is stunning, could have been taken 100 years ago love the muted tones and the angle. really like this
love the mood and angle.
Brilliant, I like this as the figure give such a feel of the depth and adds to the aged appearance, nice work! Spot on! Click!!!
Awesome image! I love the lighting in this!
Colin excellent capture with the colums and architecture plus your lone subject! Reminds me of an image you would see for a book cover!
What a rare capture and such a beautiful shot. The tones, the angle everything!! I could go on.... One of the best shots I've seen of Dublin. Glad to see someone has taken Pauls place now that he has moved! lol.
A timeless image. Love the mood and colour. Composition is perfect.
Excellent shot, figure helps create perfection.
The figure in the shot makes this the better of the two in my opinion giving scale and interest. Smashing title too.
Love this Colin the figure rounds this up perfectly.
Quote: Rush hour Dublin
Haha, now I KNOW your joking.
Definitely getting crowded in Dublin I would move out if I were you.
Excellent second choice.
Mysterious and mystical.. stunning atmosphere and mood captured and created.. beautiful work
The figure looks late 1930's wartime and fits the mood perfectly. Bruce
Love the colour and atmosphere..certainly not like present day at all..almost a stage set at the back.
Great Work...and A Well Deserved RC
has a very classic feel, could have been takin in any year.
This one is more subtle with classic light and mood.
Very nicely shot, the shadows from the columns and the person are nice pieces of interest in the shot
I think including the person in the foreground has made this a much stronger image than the last upload. Nice one.
Stunning light and composition!!
Brilliant image making me very homesick! Tara x
Ah, I've walked that path many a time...
I just love this shot, and how rare to see it almost devoid of people. The woman adds a sense of scale and perspective to this and, if she were wearing period custume, could complete the illusion of an 18th Century etching.
I really do like this image.
nice work, what else can I say?
