The title contradicts the reality somewhat as paulcr can vouch! Even at 7 in the morning this was a rare moment of no traffic and people. Taken at the weekend Dublin looking towards Trinity. Thanks for looking.

Brilliant, I like this as the figure give such a feel of the depth and adds to the aged appearance, nice work! Spot on! Click!!!

Colin excellent capture with the colums and architecture plus your lone subject! Reminds me of an image you would see for a book cover!

What a rare capture and such a beautiful shot. The tones, the angle everything!! I could go on.... One of the best shots I've seen of Dublin. Glad to see someone has taken Pauls place now that he has moved! lol.

The figure in the shot makes this the better of the two in my opinion giving scale and interest. Smashing title too.

The figure looks late 1930's wartime and fits the mood perfectly. Bruce

I think including the person in the foreground has made this a much stronger image than the last upload. Nice one.

Ah, I've walked that path many a time...

I just love this shot, and how rare to see it almost devoid of people. The woman adds a sense of scale and perspective to this and, if she were wearing period custume, could complete the illusion of an 18th Century etching.

I really do like this image.
