LIke it, though would suggest a portrait crop that features the window more, - and it needs to be sharper.

This is the sort of image that usually comes to my mind when people talk about the charms of country life in the good old days...
The composition works for me, the window is important but doesn't dominate. But I agree with Willie that it needs to be sharper.
