Hello Friends,
My laptop packed up
and I hadn't backed up.
So I have had a "trauma" time and the rusty object above just suits my mood!! Bought new laptop (piggy bank now empty) and still trying to get used to a new piece of equipment. Will calm myself enjoying your pics over the next few days. Hope you are all well. J.

Bit of a MOT failure I think. I'm learning on my shiny new desk top at the moment, trying to transfer software with licence keys is a pain in the proverbial!!

Trust you are on good terms with your new laptop by now! That was a huge calamity for you.
It happened to me too, not long ago and left me in tears! Luckily I have a computer expert friend who took days to rescue everything from the 'dead' drive and put them on to an external for me - and saved my sanity! Result was a very empty purse, a neat new powerful tower, a couple extra externals and a couple of days learning the new Windows 7.!!
Motto:- ALWAYS keep a back up.
It was well worth wheeling this one out Joan, sorry to hear about your recent computer troubles
