....................snakes, seed heads and stains on spoons
Every now and then I feel the need to make one of these - very therapeutic I have to say
Thanks for looking
Looks like hard work to me Helen but I like the result.
Me thinks you would have been a tile designer in another life--- Love the results of this well laid tile!
Great processing and patience Helen.
S is for Superb!
Very imaginative as always - how do you do it.
I take some photos, thinking I'll try something like this then decide - naw!
An interesting combination Helen, done in good taste !
a lot of time and patience but it works
Fabulous, Helen Carol
I really like it,love the tones and texture,
Wouldn't know where to start
This would look super good...... Rather large on a gallery wall
Looks like a part of a uniquely tiled wall and as ever Helen extremely imaginative.
S is also for sunshine - do you have any of that?! If not, this is a lovely piece of work Helen.
I love the way you mix totally different subjects in these montages and give them a tonal harmony so that they look as though they were meant for each other.
Thanks everyone for your comments
Well worth the effort Helen.
Wow its really superb, the colours together are great, well done
Have an RC on me for your perseverance in putting this together.
Thanks for your comment Colleen and for saving this as a favourite
Thanks Danny for the 30th click
Well put together with harmonious tones, Helen.
Well worked with this Helen, would certainly make good wall art
Thanks Ray and Richard
And a super job you make of doing these, too, Helen Excellent creation
Tedious work, but beautiful.
Not tedious at all - very satisfying
You've created a palette of similar sage tones which ties all these images together so well. The plaque: is it clay and made by one one your students, or even by you?
Love how you do these collages Helen . So much patience is needed xx
We now expect to see a full alphabet of these, Helen.
That's 28 more.
28?, I hear you say. Yes. Norwegian has 3 extra letters - Æ æ, Ø ø, Å å
Although I understand if you stop after 25 more...
Quote: very therapeutic I have to say
Think it would tire me out doing one of these Helen ...................... superbly done in all respects,
Thanks everyone - yes Anne - they were made by pupils at school from clay, and no Malc - I have not got one for each letter of the English alphabet let alone the Norwegian
In remember the clay tiles Helen.
Amazing that 3 such contrasting subjects should make such a well balanced frame.Excellent.
So well thought out Helen
and the colours work perfectly together
great presented image
You have the patience of Jove - a very well worked image
Thanks Brian, Lillian and Ann
