Such an old fashioned boat - looks a bit odd sailing under such an imposing modern day bridge. I was too far away really for my lens, but had a go anyway.

Hello,
if there had been some nice contrasty directional light, a bit of colour or some nice clouds in the sky then this could have been a good shot.
i appreciate that it was opportunistic to grab a shot with the boat, but other than a record, there are some days when we have to conceed that landscape work is never going to be really possible and i think, this day was one of those when the camera is best in the cupboard.
its well seen, and well framed and you did the best you could but in such conditions, it would never be more than a record shot.
Phil
Please see my mod.
I've cropped this a bit, increased the contrast using curves, slightly desaturated the blue and green channels, also in curves and cloned out (rather badly!) the little post thing to the left of the upright.
I stopped short of replacing the sky, although in this case, it would be relatively easy.
I forgot to sharpen it though.
Hopefully, that's livened it up a little!
Bren.
