This stretch of road was, until about 8 years ago, part of the Trans-Canada Highway, at that time a new twinned highway was built, by-passing this area, which has become a bit of a backwater.
This was last Monday, Thansgiving Day in Canada, and we're on our way to visit Salt Springs Provincial Park, that's about 25km (16m) from New Glasgow. The entrance to the park is just beyond the far bend in the road.
V2 to 8 are random scenes in the park.
V9: Must surely be unique, a cemetry in the middle of a public park!
Hope you have the time to view large + F11
Also hoping you all have a great weekend, we're looking forward to ours as we're heading to our Eastern Shore for a long weekend break, celebrating our wedding anniversary and Mary's birthday which are both on Monday....see, I really am a canny Scot, two events, one present
