This is from last Friday evening . Again it had been a day of heavy rain and showers at Whitby but as the evening came round it became a fine evening . Many thanks for all the comments and clicks on my uploads . All are very much appreciated ....Phil

Interesting viewpoint, Phil, but one that allowed a most impressive shot......I like the straight lines and angles of the pier and the curves of the incoming waves, all against a wonderful sunset, the golden light catching in the water too.

It always surprises me how much further North the coastline round there faces. It gives some wonderful sunsets in summer, and the golden light on this is lovely, Phil. Hope you enjoyed the paddle

Well controlled light and nicely handled Phil. This is yet another place I do not have an image of. How I wish I had your motivation to trawl the North East Coast capturing these cracking images.
I do hope you are feeling a bit better and that things are getting back to normal.
I used to swim under this pier many years ago..........

How well you have position the sunset, to be framed by the steel structure!
