Our camera club (Wallasey Amateur Photographic Society) is holding a Night Time/Twilight competition (27 January) so I spent from late September to December taking photos after sunset.
Liverpool is only a mile from my house (as the crow flies over the Mersey!) so I decided to visit The Albert Dock area for one of my Twilight Entries. Although I was happy with the result, it's quite a familiar scene on Merseyside and I wasn't even going to enter it into the competition, but a friend (Paul Fellows) convinced me otherwise!
I hope you like it. Please add a comment if you do, all criticisms/comments etc very gratefully received.
Please view it Large as the thumbnail/small version doesn't do it much justice!
Andrew.

Wow stunning panoramic composition, love the reflections and colours, youve captured.

Thanks a lot Sean for your kind comments, sadly this view is not quite the same since this picture was taken as new apartment buildings have gone up (to most people's dislike) and have spoilt this classic view. So I am glad I took it while I had the chance. Thanks for your vote also, vote number 30 is very important as it changes this to an RC award, which I am really pleased with.
Andrew.
Perfect example of the advice you have given me. So much more interesting with the residual sky. Thanks!
