From the wilderness of the Kimberley to San Remo a fishing village in southern Victoria, Australia in the Gippsland region 122 km south-east of Melbourne (see previous up-loads to find out about some remote places in Western Australia).
Just before the bridge leading to Phillip Island there is an ideal place for observing the resident pelicans.
There is a small beach near a fish n’ chips restaurant and the pelicans know that at midday a nice lady will come and give them some tucker. From 11.00 am the number of pelicans and seagulls grows considerably.

Feeding wild (ish) pelicans seems to be a national past-time in many places in Australia
. Sharp and colourful bill, and the trio are well composed, Jean.
