I wanted to show the Sand Piper in context and create an interesting composition.
Recently I've been testing free photo editing software on a Linux OS and seeing if it is up to the job for a professional photographer. You can read about my experiences on my blog. There's a link in my intro if you're interested. The image above was processed from RAW to final version using free software.
