A cold winters early evening in Sandton Johannesburg.
There was such beautiful color in the sky across from where I work, I went up as high as possible and snapped this beautiful building and surroundings.
I used a D800 with Nikon 24-70 f2.8 on a tripod. 2s shutter speed f8, ISO100 35mm.

Hi Gavin,
A check in levels tells me that this is sightly underexposed, which is easily rectified. I used curves. The only other change that I made was to crop a bit from the bottom where there's not a great deal going on and the large white light is a bit of a distraction.
Otherwise, I rather like it.

First rate night shot Gavin well done. Well timed, lovely light in the sky, and those buildings have lovely lines that work well.
Would just suggest to crop some space from the bottom where the very bright lights are, - they can distract, and the crop provides you with a 10 X 8 aspect ratio for printing.

I really like this image and gets my vote. It has been well timed, just after sunset when there is still light, and more importantly, colour in the sky. Great viewpoint as well, level with buidings to avoid convergence.
I can't disagree with any of the above comments; a crop off the sky and a tweek with the exposure and you'll have an even better shot. Just look out for distracting highlights, which has already been mentioned.
One or two further points, try and lengthen your exposure, that way you'll extend the traffic trails and the image will have more energy to it, obviously a longer exposure will mean a smaller aperture!
If you take your photograph after it has been raining, the pavement and roads will reflect light and colourful patterns which should enhance your photograph, depending on the scene of course.
