Another of Sara from a recent venture into a studio environment.
Used a small fan to get a little movement in her hair.

I followed a tutorial from here,I think origonally by Keith H...after westers Raw challenge.

Lit by Bowens lighting.
Raw converted in C1LE,tutorial applied in CS2.No crop, just a frame added.

F8
1/125th second handheld
ISO 100
remote flash attatched to hotshoe

Thankyou for looking, constructive critisism & modifications are very welcome.

Hi Neal..no two lights, one was set a little lower than the other to try & create some shadow..no reflector, tried to position the lights rather than attempt to hold one of those big triangular thingies..lol
Thankyou.

Jennifer..I think I prefer flowers, they don't breathe & don't move..generally..lol Lots to think about with portraits & I have sooo much to learn on this subject.

Just been oggling the large V Janet.
The lighting works so well on the face and hair, and you have captured a real sultry look.I am not too keen on the hand position though,I think its because of light on the fingers.

Good effort, like the movement of the hair, lighting a little low for me, would have liked to see more sparkle in the eyes, the left eye can only just be seen, but you get a click.

Chase, this shot attracted my attention right away. The fan is a nice touch but this would be a superb shot even without it.
Can you point me to the tutorial? -=Walter (gajewski@csulb.edu) Thanks.

Nice light and lovely skin tones, I like the flow of her hair. I must agree with Brian (bricurtis) though about the hand. Apart from that, a lovely portrait and a gorgeous model.

Looking at this image again I agree the hand does detract a little..not got one without it though including the movement in her hair ,which I like very much..Sara isn't a model so I suppose posing could have been a bit difficult for her as it was a case of the blind leading the blind !!
Thanks for your honesty guys I do appreciate it.
