Hi all, this is a variant from an earlier upload, suggestions taken on board and a very small amount of blue filter applied to the BG only to take away what was a very dull grey sky. Still not much action going on here on the bird front hence delving into the archives again.

This is a beauty of a shot. Really like the muted colours of the bird, and that red rimmed eye. Soft buttery bokeh, superb feather detail.

Not only did you find a very seldom bird (at least here it is very seldom seen) but also you managed a fantastic capture. Detail in the feathers is striking!
