Taken in absolute persistent rain during the workshop I ran yesterday in the Yorkshire Dales, I didn't take many myself but managed to capture this one with the 300mm lens
Nice one Tony, some nice light in this one despite the rain. I trust the day went well for you ans your pupils
Looks as if a beam of sun was catching on the moss covered boulder, but from what you say, it seems unlikely: but it does contrast well with the less colourful falls themselves.
The water has been captured most effectively.
Just shows what excellent shots can be got even in such indifferent conditions.
Cheers Mike & Ronnie, no beam of sun, just post processing...
Superb image Tony.
Like this one Tony, make a cracking print. Hope your workshop went well and that you enjoyed it also, although on the sharp end.
Cheers guys, appreciate the comments, thoroughly enjoyed it Les, it was one of the exclusive 1 to 1's and the guy had a blast, learned a lot and he was great company too, more like that please
Definite lack of votes about Tony, don't know why with this one, but I'm finding the same. Always a good subject and one of my favourites too, although haven't been for a year or two.
Cheers Malcolm, mine have been distinctly lacking in votes for some time now as I have little time to be on here anymore, you only get out what you put in as they say...
Lovely image, almost mono and then the beautiful mossy green............Sandy
