Evening all

Early morning trip to Scaleber Force in the Dales. This is the first view of the falls before you descend into the gorge to view the wonderful waterfall system beneath the force, which will follow. The morning was not brilliant set off in sunshine and arrived to dull overcast conditions. The falls are situated almost next to the road between Settle and Airton.

Many thanks for the votes and great comments on my last upload "Think it is a Great White!!!" all greatly appreciated had enough though of chasing butterflies as saw one in the above image and nearly went over the edge trying to get it......

Thanks for taking the time to look. Nipping out for a meal this evening so will catch up latter.

Cheers

John

A wonderfully crisp and fresh composition, furthermore it has been so very well exposed, capturing the movement in the falling water whilst not making it into a silky milky mess.

So lovely John, and to just spy the bridge there in the background gives more to
seeing the rush of water in the falls...beautiful
and worth the early visit

That's a convenient gap in the trees of which you have taken full advantage to frame this lovely shot.

Well framed and the dull conditions gives you those longer shutter speeds, John.

I actually think dull conditions are better for waterfall shots. This is a great image though and looking forward to some more!WinkGrinGrinGrinGrin

I much prefer dull overcast conditions for water John and you have made the most of those conditions with this image. Superb.
