Another from my series of Gannet shots taken on Bass rock, the bird pictured has found a scooby snack wrapper and was about to add it it to his nest, I would have liked to whole wrapper in view, but as often is the case it was a grabbed shot which was quickly gone. In fact another bird barged in and nicked the wrapper Smile

Many thanks for the comments and clicks on my last image, disappointed it bombed but hey thats life LOL

An excellent portrait of the gannet.

A t the same time it's a sad statement about the way we pollute our world.

great detail, almost comical as a picture with the wrapper. I am finding Gannets quite fascinating viewing your pics of them, would like to return to the Farnes but not sure I could make it again, perhaps I can find an easier place to get me some pics

Super shot, just love that eye.
I have been remembering the awful rubbish that the swans included in their nest last yearTongue.

Comments about pollution (which I totally agree with of course) but at the same time the Gannets are squabbling over it so they must be pleased to have it. Interesting.

Great image, Mike.
