This is tack sharp and for that, it brings out the feeling of the shot even more. Its a very stark and moody shot and the lighting and setting give it a very forboding feeling. I love it!
Emotion and mood are really hard to convey in a photo, unless you have the right model (or lighting). This is an excellent effort, I do find that pipe just a tad distracting and looks much better without it. Cropping it out would bring the model too low in the frame, maybe a bit of cloning is required here, unless you can go back and reshoot!
Is that building safe?!!, reminds me of my house when I first moved in.

The pipe is really distracting and I may go back 2 it at some point n clone it out!

I live in a place called Stannington, too. I've been meaning to go to the Stannington near Newcastle for years, but thought people would think of me as more odd than they do already.
If I'd known this cool abandoned building was there, I would have visited earlier...
