Made a mad dash (5hrs each way) to Bude tidal pool last weekend having been inspired by Dereks images of the Margate sea pools, got loads of images but this was the first...........thanks to Cheesey for his UA on the last upload
A very bold composition, and one which immediately grabs one attention. Superbly composed, very well captured, processed and presented. "Superb photography"
That's just gorgeous.
Love it..... A great composition and excellent long exposure. brilliant capture
That's an impressive image and drive Jeremy (10 hours round trip) . Love the colour, well worth the trip..........hope you enjoyed the Cornish pasty too !.
A 10 hour round trip?. That's what I call devotion, Jeremy!
Worth it though for the top quality image that we see here!
Stunning image which has a great FP, Jeremy. Top class photography.
Awesome colour Jeremy
Well worth the drive
I normally dislike long exposure shots but this one is amazing. Love the colour and the mood.
Fabulous tones in this wonderful composition, Jeremy!
Excellent z composition - but I think this will have to grow on me as I normally love and expect your rugged rock
images which I find exciting.
Good enough for a dip Jeremy
Thought this was a 'Derek' from the thumbnail. Lovely smooth tones, Jeremy but part of me wants to crop the bottom so the diagonal goes into the corner and remove most of the sky leaving a traditional landscape format.
i do like this bring back memories
Outstanding work with excellent use of the lines within the frame.
Definitely in the style of "Derek" here Jeremy - terrific shot.
I like the zig zag geometry in the composition. Looking forward to seeing what else you got from here.
Bude...Margate...Guernsey...I didn't realise there were so many tidal pools still in existence. This is a terrifically strong composition, Jeremy, in which you make full use of the diagonals of the pond's edge. The long exposure helps to accentuate those features superbly.

Beautifully composed....the short version of wot Ian said
Beautiful unifying colour scheme and a lovely comp. Might have been tempted to clear the detritus off the grill since everything else is so clean but I guess you retain artistic integrity your way! Wish my wife would let me take a 10hr round trip for a photo! This was very well worth the effort. Look forward to seeing the other ones you shot!
Thanks Al , she hadn't noticed I had gone
Absolutely love this Jeremy (well I would, wouldn't I?) The diagonal composition is perfect and the cool colour toning works so well.
This is definitely on my list of locations to shoot now.
Cracking comp, tones and exposure.
Feels futuristic and surreal.Superb!
