I took this a few months ago when this giant puppet theatre visited and walked the streets of Liverpool. It was inspired by a letter written by a young girl to her father, who was a steward on the Liverpool-registered ill fated Titanic liner. The puppets are operated by hordes of puppeteers from various machinery and in this scene by large cranes.
The event showed the girl, called Little Girl Giant, walking around Liverpool with her dog on a quest to learn news of her father. She finally meets with her uncle (the diver) and in this scene they are preparing to leave the city together.
