This jacaranda tree in front of my flat looks gloriously blue for 3 weeks each year, on cue, through rain or drought. The lamp post illuminates the blooms at night --- pretty magical.

I missed a photo op one morning (at another location - the local library) when the flowers blanketed the pavement after a nighttime storm. I can try a night shot but don't think my humble camera can handle it.

I agree the colours are awesome. What I miss is structure.

I think the lamp post does not belong in the photo. try to crop it out an give the photo some structure by using the branches of the tree. Smile
