The final set of images in this series taken at Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset last spring, these all fit the Shadow Saturday theme. V7 is especially for epzer Mikbee who has made a welcome return to this site. The satellite dish was spotted on the side of a cafe overlooking the seafront between Knightstone Island and Madeira Cove. I'm sure Mick will be hoping to get his hands on this particular model asap!Wink

This wasn't summer Annette most of these were taken in late March when the temperature hit 23 degrees celsius! Although you could say that it was our summer of 2012 as that was as good as it got for the rest of the year as it rained right through from April till December!Sad

This pier and environs has served you well, Ed, with many shots all from different angles and viewpoints.
Like Annette, V 3 appeals with that red lifebuoy casing in the f/g.

In one of your earlier uploads in this series Ed, I questioned if the pier was now shorter than before, you've answered that well with V4 here, where it seems to go on forever!
Rgds., Jim
PS. hard to believe this was late March!! Talking of weather our high today was -14C Sad

A wonderfully observed set of photographs Ed. For me the ice cream de la ice cream is image number 5 the ornate Victorian shelters are a great feature of this wonderful seasife town.

Nice selection of shots Ed', and by the looks of the deserted Pier, I reckon it wasn't quite as warm as it looks.

Most of these shots were taken very early in the morning before the pier had opened and most tourists had arrived as I was visiting the area for work. These shots were taken when I had a bit of time to kill before my first meeting that was scheduled
