Indoor shot of a stem of Lisianthus........the bud makes the blooms up to five, an odd number that is always more pleasing aesethically.
My thanks to all who commented on Beyond a Refit?
Ronnie.

If you hadn't named this as Lisianthus, I'd have thought it some kind of rose Ronnie, have looked it up in my dictionary, but not listed, so may well be I'm partially right. Now as to your upload, a great shot and presentation as always, the idea of odd numbers being preferrable is news to me, but makes sense when I think about it! Don't pay any heed to Mick, he's just nit picking ![]()
Rgds., Jim
Must express my ignorance as well here, i also thought it was roses.
Hi Ronnie, this is really superb, excellent presentation too..
Samar..
Another stunner Ronnie
the use of light and background is amazing it jumps out at you

Morning Ronnie, expertly lit and captured again and I like the green border. The low diagonal presentation does look a bit awkward though, it's not quite natural without support at that angle (I'm probably in a minority of one on this so please disregard as appropriate).
Dave
Seeking the light indeed, well framed with a nice touch of green boarder, stands out well I think,

a perfect light on those delicate shade of pink! beautifully arranged. The horizontal arrangement needs some getting used to, but then it makes me think of floral arrangements on memorial days, weddings etc.
I'm going to try your recipe today at lunchtime, will contact you later.
There's nothing quite like a rose, Ronnie. Marvellous.

Beautiful image Ronnie, lovely colours, beautifully captured and presented.

Only recently discovered Lisianthus and got most votes I've ever had.
They are beautiful flowers and the little buds very photogenic.
These are a lovely colour Ronnie.
To those who don't believe odd numbers work bettter - try arranging
four items in a pleasing way. Quite difficult.
