It was a cloudy New Year morning at the Manila Bay. My youngest son was very sad coz his Mom is working abroad, my eldest is in the province during that time. Him and I only celebrated new year 08 together that's why he was so lonely that time.
Hope you like the mono. I appreciated all your approval and corrections in the past, today, and future.
Good day my beloved Artists and Mentors.
I may not vote to all of you today due of my slow computer, I will surely drop by each everyone of you and give my words and votes.

wonderful image.. just sad that he was so unhappy on that day... glad he had you to be with I am sure you were able to take the saddness away..
Thank you respected Artists.
Yes Mary, my wife will coming soon. We plan to stay in New Zealand someday were other relatives are presently living. Thanks for your concern.
The tones suit this image so well.
Would love to see it from the front angle sometime in the evening, with the lights lit.
Would also love to see your little boy with a lovely happy face, with his mum.....he looks so sad.

Thanks for your words Mavis. I understand your point about the other people out there![]()
As the title: "Separated," If I didn't tell the story behind the expression of my son, anybody who see this image will think, that child is separated from other people. That's why I didn't removed those people. The image has double meaning.

Dennis, by placing your son in the corner you've obtained great composition in this shot. Love the strong shapes and dramatic looking sky. An all round great mono shot. Well done.
Take care.
Steve
Dennis be proud, great positioning of your son making a fine mono shot
Thanks to all your words of wisdom, I really appreciated it.
Dennis
I love the dramatic feel the mono gives this image and probably the colour version would not do it justice. Sometimes in a shame that other peoples feeling MAKE an image but credit to you you saw the potenial and took the shot, Least ways when mum came home she could see it to.
Keep on improving and you will soon be some-ones mentor
Thank you Dave for inspirational words.
Thank you Neil, Cheers!![]()

Sorry I was just thinking he was separated from his Mum, now I see the double meaning - spot on
Mavis
No big deal Mavis. I appreciated all words of wisdom.
Thanks didddroba01 for dropping by.
I'm trying to catch up after having been away for a few days. I like the way you have composed this, it really makes him look super alone.
As to suggestions, which I know you like, I would have tried to include the peak of the structure where your son is standing, and crop from the right up to the last structure to exclude the other people. Overall nice work, and I like the mono,.
