Avoided uploading this from last year as I thought the positioning of the fg rock looked a little contrived - nevertheless I like the colour on Skiddaw and the mist on Derwentwater.
What do others think?

Beautiful in its minimalism and gorgeous muted colours.

Beautifully serene....

An extremely well composed and photographed image captured from a great point of view. The half second exposure just enough to allow the calmness of the lake to become a mirror like finish, whilst the colour and light have been beautifully worked and reproducing during post production.

Fantastic light on the hills contrasting the misty beauty elsewhere. I can see what you mean about the rock but it works really well and is an essential part of the comp for balance. I wonder if placing it a little further into the frame on the diagonal would ease the slight tension created by it being close to the edge? The only reason I suggest it is the scene is so tranquil otherwise. Cracking image irrespective! Smile
