Managed to get out and take a few shots today after what seems like ages. This is a cottage currently undergoing renovation in the pretty village of Boughton. Rather liked the worn yellow door and the ancient creeper against the backdrop of the mellow Northamptonshire stone.

Thanks for looking and please view large if you have the time.

Lovely... be great to see it restored to it's former glory!

An extremely satisfying composition of complementary shapes, tones and textures.

This is a great shot, pity if the creeper disappears when the work is finished. - gary

It's the unruliness of the tree, going where it wants, against the very neat wall. Another good one from the doorman.

Beautifully composed image Dave, with lovely contrast between the straight lines of the house and the organic shapes of the tree. Wonderful textures too.

Bit late here Dave - just got back from a few days in Plymouth. Nice shot, lovely mellow colours. Be even better when the leaves are out.
